Hiro

Established in 2013 and originally known as Blockstack before rebranding in 2020, Hiro is at the forefront of developing tools for the Stacks ecosystem, the largest and fastest-growing Web3 project on Bitcoin. Named after the hacker "Hiro Protagonist" from Neal Stephenson’s novel Snow Crash, Hiro's platform and suite of tools are designed to unlock the full potential of Bitcoin through smart contracts, digital assets, and decentralized applications.

A company created by developers for developers, Hiro’s offerings are substantial, receiving over 350 million monthly requests to their Stacks API, with more than 60,000 downloads of the Hiro Wallet and over 26,000 monthly users of the Stacks Explorer.

Recognizing the need for a brand that reflects their mission and growth while remaining true to their developer-centric ethos, Hiro recently unveiled a new identity crafted by the Brooklyn-based design firm Porto Rocha.
