More than a Gesture

by Luminous Design

1ST25Y is a limited edition of four handcrafted ceramic vessels that Luminous Design made to mark its first twenty-five years, a gift to the clients and collaborators who worked with the studio along the way. Sixty-eight sets were produced and sent by courier. The packaging includes silver boxes and sleeves with embossed details, a black interior with a foam insert cut to each vessel, white gloves, a black folder with a numbered card, and an NFC tag that opens a look at the production process. The vessels are hand-painted black stoneware with 25% chamotte, glazed inside and fired at 1250°C. Design, art direction and photography by Luminous Design.

Luminous Design marked twenty-five years with four ceramic vessels and a silver box that turns opening the gift into a slow, deliberate ritual.
